In general the implants can be placed in one of three incisions. The incision usually are about 1-2 inches long. The implants can be placed thru the armpit, through the colored part of the areola, periareolar, or in the crease underneath the breast, called the inframammary incision. Each incision site has advantages and disadvantages.
